Course Description
The global pandemic has highlighted the necessity of an integrated comprehensive health care system and the components of community health was the most essential to prevent the spread of disease. For a country like India with diverse culture and significant variance in access to health care among people, the focus on community health to boost prevention and to provide comprehensive health care at affordable cost is still relevant.
Community Health Enablers’ Course intends to build the capacities of service providers located in rural and remote areas to provide comprehensive health care. The course covers a wide spectrum of subjects from the community based care point of view. This includes right to health, mental health, palliative care, maternal & child health etc. The participants can attend the self-paced online course at their convenience within 3 months. To facilitate the learning process, there will be reading materials, mentors and the learners can reach out to the help desk.
